on the charges for the licence fees
which total approx US$200 and any extras
such as photography (aprrox US$250),
flowers etc. These costs will be payable
locally by the guests.

| Legal Requirements |
| There is no offical waiting period
prior to the wedding ceremony. Couples
must first go the the MInistry of Legal
Affairs to obtain their Marriage licence
and the marriage can then take place
(the MInistry is closed on Saturday,
Sunday and Public Holidays). A letter
will be obtained by the local agent,
from the Marriage Officer stating that
he will perform the wedding service. |

| Legal Documents |
- Valid passports.
- If divorced, the original Decree
Absolute papers must be produced.
- If widowed, the Marriage Certificate
and partners Death Certificate must
be produced, unless the Death Certificate
carries the name of the surviving
partner.
- If under 18 years of age, he or
she must be accompanied by a parent.
- If above documents are not in
English, an offical translation of
these in English must accompany the
originals.

| Church Weddings |
| Weddings in church can be arranged
at an additional charge. However, if
guests request a Catholic wedding,
2 or 3 months notice will be required
as it is necessary for documentation
to be prepared By the local church. |
