All villas feature traditional 19th century Jamaican architecture with intricate interior details to create a romantic atmosphere: dark mahogany four-poster beds draped with a delicate canopy of muslin netting; French doors; thick louvered windows; spacious private verandas. Each cottage features hand-carved fretwork with different themes. Jamaican art and photographs decorate the walls. Strawberry Hill offers you an authentic old world atmosphere.

The scenic setting of the Blue Mountains offers many beautiful nature/hiking/mountain biking trails. Conference Facilities - Strawberry Hill is a perfect setting for executive retreats.
A small conference room is available providing seating for 30 people theatre-style, 16 people boardroom style, and features the latest audio / visual equipment. Gift Shop - a great selection of gifts from Island clothing, slippers, CDs, food sauces, books and more. Heliport - breathtaking view from the helicopter as you glide above the mountains. Helicopter service to and from the airport can also be arranged.
Strawberry Hill's restaurant serves continental breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overseen by Jamaican-born Chef James Palmer, the menu features "new Jamaican" cuisine and has received excellent reviews from both hotel guests and Kingston residents.
Sample dishes: Jamaican pepper pot soup; jerk lamb loin with garlic guava glaze; pan seared plantain crusted snapper with a passion fruit sauce. At lunch, a lighter menu is offered with salads, soups, pastas and daily specials. On weekends, Strawberry Hill serves afternoon high tea and a special Jamaican Sunday brunch.
Breakfast is available from 8 am to 11 am, lunch is served from 11:30 am to 3 pm, and dinner is served from 6 pm to 10 pm nightly. The lounge / bar is open from 8 am until 11 pm daily. |
