Located on the quaint Bahamas Out Island of Harbour Island and exuding colonial charm, Pink Sands is a 20-acre haven set by the edge of the famous three-mile pink sand beach. Designed by Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki in an eclectic mixture of styles-Moroccan, Indian, and Balinese-Pink Sands comprises 25 pastel-colored cottages scattered throughout lush tropical grounds.
ROOMS
The cottages are situated to ensure privacy for all guests and are the perfect choice for those desiring a sophisticated but relaxed beach holiday. All cottages are comfortably furnished with central air-conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV/VCR/DVDs, CD Players, Multi-line telephones with data port, walk-in closets, wet bars, private patio, iron & ironing board, in-room safe and hairdryer. Fax machines and cellular phones are available on request.
Facilities and Dining
This Caribbean resort features a fresh water pool, 3 tennis courts (one lit for night play), and an exercise studio and gift shop in the clubhouse, a beach restaurant and bar, library. For cigar lovers, the main bar has a humidor with a variety of fine cigars. On the beach sunbeds and beach umbrellas, and snorkelling equipment and kayaks for your enjoyment.
Deep sea fishing, watersports. Two restaurants at the resort serve Caribbean-International cuisine. Breakfast and dinner are served at the the Garden Terrace Restaurant, a romantic open-air restaurant with teak furniture and private candlelit corners. The Blue Bar is located on the beach and is open daily for lunch and cool drinks. |
