An intimate luxury designer hotel comprising a handful of cottages tucked into the hillside above a pretty bay. Located in St George, Grenada. 20 minutes transfer. Each of the sixteen cottages which make up La Luna are set on a hillside, minimalistic in design and furnishings but oh so classy with painted stone walls, four poster beds draped in muslin and designer bathrooms.
On the terrace of each is a tiny plunge pool and all rooms have a sea facing shower. The pool area is magnificent with an adjacent bar and covered area for relaxing amongst the Balinese carvings and designer furniture. A few steps further brings you to a dream of a beach.
ROOMS
The 16 detached cottages, each with private plunge pools, are spread out amongst 10 acres of landscaped grounds, strategically positioned to maximise the ocean views and fabulous sunsets. Polished concrete floors, dramatic teak furnishings and a large bedroom, complete with white Indonesian cotton draped four poster.
The cleverly designed open air bathrooms contain a specially crafted shower, facilitating bathing in the beauty of the tropics. Exclusive Italian bath products. All have air conditioning, multi-speed ceiling fans, king-size beds, bathrobe, direct-dial telephones, TV/VCR, hairdryers, mini-bar, CD player, tea/coffee making facilities, safe and plunge pool, private deck.
Facilities and Dining
Complimentary watersports include hobie cat sailing, kayaking and snorkel equipment. The hotel can also arrange golf, tennis, fishing and diving, at a local charge. Facilities include pool, gym, gift shop, wine cellar and laundry facilities.
Complimentary activities: mountain biking, canoeing, hobie cat sailing, snorkelling and kayaking. Golf, deep-sea fishing, yoga and meditation classes, island ecotours and diving can be arranged at an extra cost.
The restaurant and bar are contained in a variety of low thatched roofed buildings on the waterfront, overlooking the pool and beach. The Sunset bar is comfortably furnished with daybeds and sofas - a perfect spot for a sundowner; whilst the restaurant, which is open to the public, serves a delicious range of local seafood and Continental specialities. The wine list includes a variety of exclusive Italian wines from undiscovered vineyards. |
