A luxury hybrid, all-suite Kú brings a fresh and unique approach to Anguilla, combining sophisticated sensibility with surprising affordability. 75-foot beachfront bar, the longest on the island, that is poised to become Anguilla’s most fashionable “hot spot;” with live music, dancing and French-influenced cuisine.
“We’re striving for an ambience that’s evocative of South Beach and St. Barts – a fun, informal setting where guests are comfortable dancing barefoot under the stars, picnicking on the beach and having the flexibility to dine out or eat in,” says Guishard, referring to the hotel’s fully equipped kitchens and on-site provisions Guests will enjoy spacious suites featuring kitchens, DVD and CD players, a “petit” spa and fitness center, even a line of Indonesian bath products.
Light and airy, the resort’s 27 spacious suites, situated in five white buildings of one- to three-stories, each feature an oceanfront or ocean view balcony, living and dining room, full kitchen, bedroom (king- or twin-bedded) and bathroom. All suites are equipped with television, radio, DVD and CD players, air conditioning, ceiling fans and safes; some have a pull-out sofa in the living room, making them particularly ideal accommodations for families.
The bathrooms have a hair dryer, shower and fluffy towels and bathrobes. Bath amenities are from Indonesia and include shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion. There is one beachfront restaurant and bar There is live music at Sunday lunch and several nights during the week, with dancing on the beach under the stars The on-site delicatessen carries cold meats, patés, crackers and biscuits, as well as sundries, lotions and numerous other items.
Kú’s dive shop rents snorkel and diving gear. The on-site divemaster can take guests to sites off Shoal Bay East beach or to the numerous reef and wreck dives around the island. Excellent reefs are just a swim away from Kú.
The large freshwater swimming pool at Kú is located beach front. A gym at the hotel has treadmills, a step machine and Universal weight machine. The hotel’s boutique carries casual beachwear, sundries and gifts. Baby sitting can be arranged. Laundry and dry cleaning services are offered. |
