About
Located on the Northwest Coast of St. Lucia on Cap Estate and across from the St. Lucia Golf Resort & Country Club. Almond Smugglers Cover becomes the fifth resort in the Almond Resort family of all-inclusives. This property will open February 2007.
Accommodations
The resorts 389 rooms (5 categories) are located in single-story buildings set in the tropical gardens or overlooking Smugglers Cove itself. All rooms are newly refurbished and offer terrace, air-conditioning, private bath and shower, in-room safe, king or twin beds (according to request), satellite colour TV, hairdryers, tea & coffee making facilities, iron & board. Room service is available for lunch and dinner only. (Internet access in lobby at extra charge.)
Activities & Sports
Snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, banana boat rides, water skiing, golf (Free green fees on the nearby Cap Estate Golf Course – limited to 3 free 18 hole rounds per 7 night stay – compulsory buggy hire charges apply). The hotel has its own Racquet Club which is equipped with 7 tennis courts. It also has a squash court, a fitness center and beauty treatment rooms offering various treatments (at extra cost) including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. A glorious stretch of beach with sun loungers. 5 freshwater swimming pools, of which one is located within the racquet club area. Supervised Almond Kids Club open daily, catering to children from newborn to teenagers (see separate kids club fact sheet). Live entertainment nightly. Beach towels are included and available at the water sports desk. Internet access in lobby (at extra charge).
Dining & Entertainment
Almond Smugglers Cove will have a selection of 4 gourmet restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner. The four restaurants will offer a choice of delicious cuisine and fine wines including a Continental style restaurant; a casual Italian restaurant; a seafood restaurant and an adult’s only traditional local St Lucian restaurant.
Kids Club
Our children's programme at Almond Smugglers Cove will replicate the successful kids' clubs at the other family friendly Almond Resorts in St. Lucia and Barbados. It has been designed to provide educational fun to children from newborns to teens, keeping them happily entertained with playgrounds, kiddie pools and fully equipped activity centers. Our fully qualified staff allows parents to relax and enjoy themselves in the knowledge their little ones are supervised and well looked-after.
